Michael Chan shows you where to stay up to date on React 18 changes and showcases in-process React Working Group discussions on GitHub!

Instructor: [0:00] You've made it. You successfully updated a React app to React 18 pre-release and are ready to explore concurrent features as those new Suspense APIs stabilize. Where can you find information about those APIs as they start to come online? I'm glad you asked.

[0:18] Something new to React in 2021 is the React Working Group. Here, you'll find discussions between the React core team, library maintainers, and educators on features that are coming down the pipe. Not all of them are ready yet. They're being discussed, and they're being built and finalized as we speak.

[0:36] If you want, you can stay in the know by tracking these. It all happens in discussions. You don't have to be a source expert or track GitHub issues to stay in the know. I'm a member of the React Working Group. If you have questions or concerns, I would love to give your thoughts a voice there.

[0:56] Until then, I thank you for taking this course, and I can't wait to see what you build with React 18.

Thanks for the great short course Michael. Your excellent presentation left me with just one question…

What does the sign say behind your head? 🙂
